Jon Nicholson: Photographer
Jon has made a reputation for himself in the world of sport photography. His books on sporting themes – from Grand Prix teams and drivers to top-flight international athletes and football teams – are second to none.
Having been granted unprecedented access to work behind the scenes, he compiles a compelling vision of how these teams and individuals prepare to succeed in their quest for victory.
A selection of Jon’s books can be found in the books section, including ‘Ganges’ – published in July this year to accompany the BBC series about the river.
Jon’s editorial work via commission or review of his own work has been seen in most major magazines around the world; most recently the Sunday Times colour supplement, ‘Images of Darfur’.
Other books include:
Band of Brothers: A Celebration of the England Rugby Union Squad
Cowboys: A Vanishing World
The A1, England’s Oldest and Longest Road
